Surkhet is the capital of Karnali province. There are 10 districts under this province which are (Surkhet, Dailekh, Kalikot, Jumla, Mugu, Humla, Dolpa, Jajarkot, Western Rukum and Salyan). Although the Churches are growing in this province, Most of the pastors have started a church after 3 to 1 years of leadership training. Therefore, they need more biblical education. Short-term trainings have been going on in this place, but they are limited to discipleship. That’s why there is no proper understanding of the biblical teaching, on the one hand, the churches are attacked by false teachings, and on the other hand, unbiblical teachings are being preached from the pulpit of the church rather than the biblical Christ-centered teaching. Accordingly, there is a spiritual drought among believers. So that God has placed the burden of running a pastoral training school in Surkhet, realizing the need for pastoral-centered education, so that this school has been established to provide pastor-centered education to the pastors, leaders who have been serving in the local churches within this province, as well as those who have the desire to become pastors.
